Conduct all your Internet Banking transactions on the Internet in a safe and secure environment,  which is the highest level of security commercially available. We also have a host of internal control measures and processes which ensure that your transactions remain safe and confidential.

While Internet banking is essentially an additional banking service that we offer our customers for their convenience, we have looked at the risks from the operational as well as from a technology and security perspective. 
The following are some of the risks that have been considered:

Technology Perspective
We have ensured that we use the best available technology for security/ protection. We use 128-bit SSL, and have various levels of security to ensure that unauthorized access is not possible.

The operational and internal control measures instituted in internet banking include:

• Access to Internet banking provided based only on application and valid customer ID.
• Internet banking account password is issued to customers only on specific request.
• The password is generated using an internationally validated algorithm and printed on tamper-proof stationery.
• Access to customer information - a customer can access account information only on those accounts where he is the Account Holder.
• Financial transactions such as Fund Transfer, Cheque request, Stop payment, - allowed only to account holders individually authorized to operate the Account.
• Customer logins and activities are tracked and the same are available for future investigation.
