We held the 2nd Zee Women’s Banking Awards at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka on March 7, on the eve of International Women’s Day, to celebrated the dedication, resilience, and passion of women in driving progress and innovation.
As Zanaco marks its 55th anniversary and Zambia celebrates 60 years of independence, we remain steadfast in supporting the country’s prosperity, with a special focus on caring for communities where women play a pivotal role. The theme for the 2024 International Women’s Day, “Invest In Women and Girls — Accelerate Progress,” aligns with Zanaco’s commitment to empowering women.
Our CEO Mukwandi Chibesakunda highlighted the importance of empowering women and girls in eastern and southern Africa, emphasizing the transformative power of their empowerment in driving social stability and economic growth.
