We announced a dividend of K131.6 million to the Ministry of Finance and National Planning and Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) which owns 25 Percent of Zanaco. Zanaco CEO Mukwandi Chibesakunda said that the dividend, which is the highest paid by companies under the IDC Group, is testament to the bank’s commitment to contributing to the economic growth of Zambia, our home. Minister of Finance and National Planning Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane commended Zanaco for the consistency in the dividend declaration and urged other companies to emulate the bank if the country is to ease economic pressure. And IDC Chief Financial Officer, Raphael Chipoma expressed happiness and pride at the results being recorded by Zanaco .
