We are proud to announce our intention to issue Zambia’s first ever Sustainability Bond valued at USD100 million.
We were honoured to have the Securities Exchange Commissions Director of Market Supervision and Development, Mr. Nonde Sichilima, and the Lusaka Securities Exchange Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Kabaso grace this momentous occasion.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Mukwandi Chibesakunda, stated that the Zanaco Sustainability Bond is a promise to channel resources into projects that matter. Projects that safeguard our environment, uplift our communities and strengthen our economy.
This issuance is a significant milestone in our sustainability journey as we continue in our efforts to create sustainable finance opportunities for Zambia.
