The final whistle has blown at Sunset Stadium and the 2026 Zanaco Grassroots U17 National Football Tournament has officially crowned its new champions after a thrilling four days of competition.

Girls: Southern Province Girls (Team Ilibbebbede) defeated Lusaka Province girls 3-2 on penalties after a 1-1 fulltime draw)
Boys: Lusaka Province Boys (Small Issue) defeated Eastern Province Boys 2-1 at fulltime.
The prize-giving and closing ceremony was officially graced by Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe, Zanaco Board Chairman Prof. Oliver Saasa, our CEO Dr. Mukwandi Chibesakunda and Zanaco FC Board Chairman David Musunga.
