We visited our customer African Power Coal in Mulungwa area in Sinazongwe district, Southern Province. Led by our CEO, Dr. Mukwandi Chibesakunda h.c., the Zanaco team and Elan Theeboom, ESG Lead at Arise BV, toured the mine where we heard about current operations and future expansion plans.
Our customer engagements continued with a visit to Maamba Energy Limited in Sinazongwe District, Southern Province. Led by our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mukwandi Chibesakunda h.c., the Zanaco team and Elan Theeboom, Environmental, Social and Governance Lead at Arise B.V., toured the company’s mine, power plant, solar plant, sapling nursery and community facilities, including Maamba School, Maamba Training Centre and public library.
