This is a short-term seasonal and Medium-term facility to finance inputs, Irrigation equipment and farm mechanisation. The Program is aimed at increasing Zambia’s food basket by giving agriculture loans to eligible farmers in the 2024/2025 farming season.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Any salaried employees whether pensionable or contract based or non-salaried (self-employed) farmers with an underlying source of repayment.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have the required hectares of Land i.e. between 1 ha and 5ha with land record, letter of offer from traditional leaders, letter of sale, title deed or lease agreement
You have been actively farming for two consecutive farming seasons
You a quotation of the equipment to be financed
You have a verifiable water source for Irrigation
Pay slips for salaried employees
Verifiable source of income /Mobile money & bank statements for non-salaried
You should be registered through a Headman or Camp Extension Officer
Have an Off take arrangement for crops / farm produce
