Mr. Israel Simonze is the Chief Human Capital Officer for Zanaco Bank PLC. He is an experienced Human Resource Practitioner with substantial experience in Organizational Change & Redesign, HR Transformation, Compensation & Benefits, HR policy development, Industrial relations, HR Strategy Development and Human Resources Operations. He possesses relevant vast experience across key sectors such as Mining, Agriculture & Manufacturing and Banking.
Within Zanaco Plc, he notably worked as Head Operations, Compensations and Industrial Relations, Head Business Partner and Head Resource and Development. Prior to joining the Bank, he held senior management positions notably served as HR Manager at Zambia Sugar Plc, Talent Manager at Illovo Sugar, Manager Human Capital-Operations & Manpower Planning at Konkola Copper Mines, Human Resource Manager Service Delivery at Standard Chartered Bank, Capacity Utilisation Project HR Team Lead Permata Bank Indonesia. Israel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Zambia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Cavendish College UK.
