The Zanaco Digital Embedded Insurance proposition offers two types of insurance cover to all eligible Digital Banking customers. Namely- Hospital Cash Plan and Death benefit.
Xapit (Digital) account holders who are between the ages of 16 years to 70 years, and are residents of Zambia
Cover is dependent on the customer paying their monthly account maintenance fees in full
POLICY BENEFITS
A daily financial benefit of K350 to the customer after hospitalization as an inpatient for at least 48 hours (two days)
A death benefit of K10,000 payable on death of the account holder
The policy pays for a maximum of 30 days per claim event or calendar year.
POLICY CONDITIONS
Cover will not be provided in the following instances:
Where hospitalization is pregnancy related
If maintenance fees have not been paid in full
Hospitalization at hospitals that are not excluded from the policy including; Psychiatric hospitals, traditional doctors, rehabilitation centres for drug addicts or alcoholics, convalescence homes, hydrotherapy centres, nature cure clinics
